Cancelled post card mailed from Redrock (Red Rock), Ariz., August 7, 1908. The town spelling varied from one word to two words over the years. The community was developed to service the Silver Bell smelter. The post office was established in 1887 as "Red Rock". The name was changed to "Redrock" (one word), November 30, 1895. It remained with this spelling until June 1, 1950, when it again reverted to "Red Rock" (two words.)
