Cancelled postal stationery entire mailed from Geronimo, Ariz., September 5, 1909. This community on the Arizona Eastern Railroad was named for Geronimo who led Apache warriors in fights against the Mexicans. The post office was established April 30, 1896 and discontinued on May 31, 1956.
