Cancelled postal card mailed from Cochise, Ariz., January 25, 1912. The settlement of Cochise was established around 1886 and named for the Chiricahua Apache Chief. The post office, established in 1886, was short-lived and was discontinued in 1887 with the mail sent to Dragoon.
